Witches Night Out 2009

Alyssa & I had so much fun at The Witches Night Out at Gardner Village. I love it I look forward to it every year! Afterwards we went and watched scary movies since no one else wants to watch them with us. Thanks Alyssa I had fun!

Fancy Nancy

We did a Fancy Nancy party in Jenny's beautiful yard. With her nieces and all our girls. We had so much fun. I cam as "Gigi" from Paris with my dog Fifi. All the girls has so much fun. I even had a blast. It took some time to get out of my comfort zone, but then as soon as I just let go it was so much fun!

Fall Time

This is where my family spent mostof the fall. They sold corn, corn stalks, onions, potatoes, straw, pumpkins, apples, peaches, and all kinds of stuff. We all had a blast. I rememberlovingselling the corn when I was a kid andnow watching the little kids do it is so fun!

California Here We Come!!!!

Alright I'm headed to Long Beach, California on Friday for school to go to a hair show. I will post pictures I'm so excited! We will spend a day in Disneyland too. I haven't been since I was like 6 or 7 and don't really remember much at all. So I will take lots of pics and post them when I get back on Monday! I'm so excited for my first hair show!

Hair Show Fundraiser

K so as all of you know I'm going to cosmetology school. Well in January I have the opportunity to go to a hair show in Long Beach, California. On Tuesday October 28th my school is having a Halloween Carnival. The tickets are $5.00 each. For every ticket I sell $4.00 will go towards my trip so I don't have to come up with so much out of my pocket. The carnival will be suitable for ages 10 and under and will be a lot of fun. If you are willing to help me out and buy some tickets for your family let me know! There will be a cake walk, face painting, spook alley and all kinds of stuff for the kiddies. And for you parents there will $1.00 raffle tickets for haircuts, facials, manicures, pedicures, product baskets, etc...... (Parents if you wanna come, but only wanna pay for your kids thats fine. I do understand that it's a lot when you add everyone up so anything you do is appreciated!) Just let me know and I can swing by and pick up the money and drop off the tickets! This on a Tuesday, but it would make a great Family Home Evening, it will be very family friendly!

Cosmetology

I know I haven't posted in a while. I am following in Mom's footsteps and I started school on August 16th. I am going to MATC and I'm in the Cosmetology program and LOVE it! I go Monday - Thursday and Saturday. So I really don't do a whole lot that is blog worthy, but I will keep everyone updated on how school is going.

Coming Home

Well just to let everyone know Bodee comes home in the morning! My mom and I went and stayed with Jordan again. My mom and Jordan were sleeping, but I couldn't so I went and laid in my car and just came in every once in a while. It was a long night, but only one more night like that and he goes home!

Baby Bodee Update

Well it was a long night. I went and stayed at the hospital with Jordan and got no sleep! She slept pretty good though. Bodee is in the Special Care Nursery and has been since right after birth. They think he has a bacterial infection in little lungs, because his breathing is really rapid. But I guess the results take 3 days. So they have him on an IV in the Special Care Nursery and he can't leave, so every 3 hours Jordan goes in and nurses, which he isn't too interested in yet.There are only 4 of us allowed in the Special Care Nursery while he is staying there. So both grandmas and Travis' brother and I all got to go in there yesterday and hold him and talk to him it was so fun! She is being discharged today and he won't be able to leave until tomorrow which is no fun. Who wants to go home without their baby! He is doing well though he looks and acts healthly and his breathing is normal. So he will hopefully be home tomorrow!

BODEE MARTIN MILLER

This is my new nephew Bodee Martin Miller. He was born August 3 at 7:28pm. He weighed 7lbs 7 oz and was 20" long. Jordan had a hard time being in labor almost 12 hours,with some scary moments, but it all turned out good and she was a trooper.

The Pizza Machine

We went to this really fun place called "The Pizza Machine" , it's like Chuck E. Cheese but better! They have roller coasters and bowling lanes and all kinds of fun stuff for the kids. Then they have a buffet to eat with all kinds of food. Each dinning area is themed. Like a 50's diner, a ballpark a movie theater and all kinds of cool things!

It is so fun to see these two working together! They are about 22 years apart. We have a boy at the end and one in the beginning, and all girls in the middle, 8 total! By the time Mike was born Jess had just started dating his wife and then he got married and got busy with school. After he was done at the UofU he moved to Wisconsin to go to medical school and so him and Mike have never got to spend too much time togther. Jess did live here last year for about a year, but then moved and it was pretty hard on Mike. So to see the two of them working together and hanging out it really nice. Mike just has girls around him at home with his dad being gone a lot.

We Made It!

My whole family went to Omaha, Nebraska in April to see my brother and his family. He moved there last year for a job at Creighton University Hospital. He is a general surgeon there and he never has time off and we haven't seen him in a year. This is only my second time there. Last June I helped him move out there my cousin and I drove his car out there, there was a caravan of us, a truck and trailer, and my brother in another truck towing his pick up. We stayed one night, helped him unpack then turn around and drove straight home. So I didn't see much besides the highway. It was fun to stay 9 days and do all sorts of stuff!

I'm Terrible!

Ok so I know that it has been awhile since I updated this thing. I have been so busy. I went to Omaha, Nebraska for 9 days, my older brother and his family live back there. Well then got sick there I was sick in Omaha for 2 days tried to drive home, but couldn't do it, I made it about half way, I had to get a hotel in Laramie, WY for the night and finish the drive the next day. So I was sick for about a week when I got home. So as you can imagine I had so much work to catch up on when I finally went back. Well I was only back for a week when I went out of town again! I went to Arizona for 9 days. (Did I mention that I love my boss Ryan!) So now I have been back for 5 days and I am finally getting back to normal life. So as soon as I can I will get some pictures up, but you know with these trips there will be good pics, It will be worth the wait!

I can't wait until tomorrow morning bright and early (well early anyway I don't thin 4 a.m. is too bright) My family and I leave for Omaha to see my brother and his wife and 3 kids. It's been almost a year since we have seen them (Lauren in the middle was still crawling now look how big she is!) . We will be there for 9 days. It's a long boring drive, but well worth it!

Snowmobile Trip

This was another fun trip we took with work. We went snowmobiling down by Fairview. I got up this day at about 5:00 AM and we rode till about 3:30 and some of us left early for the Brad Paisley concert. So after getting our butts kicked from snowmobiling all day I was up all night at the concert. It was an awesome day! I was beat at the concert, but it was worth it! Holy cow was I dead the next day!

The snow was so deep in some parts we would get off the sleds and sink in the snow up to our waists! I was the only girl that day I was nervous I would get left in the dust, but they kept an eye on me and tried my best to keep up!

The first of the many times times these guys had to come to my rescue and dig me out. I don't think I did too bad though considering I was the only girl I think I kept up pretty good. It was a blast!

Ryley & Shane - This was the first and only fish caught in our boat. Shane got out and we never did have a bite again. If there weren't pictures of everyone else's fish they caught I don't think I would believe anyone got anything. But it still was a BLAST!

Me & Alan - I was so cold going back to the shore and it got so choppy. I felt so bad I left my coat on the other boat and Alan gave me his, but you can tell he is cold, but I stayed toasty :)

Being the only girl does have it advantages. I didn't have to get my pole ready or bait my hook they did all for me. So I guess I could blame them for not even getting a single bite! But even without catching anything, that was one of the funnest fishing trips I've had!

Yellowstone

This was one of the funnest trips! I went with my two cousins, but you would never know that Heather was there she wouldn't get in any pictures! But we'll catch her when she is least expecting it. We spent the first night in Jackson Hole, one night in West Yellowstone and, and the last night in Cody, WY. We didn't see any bears in the wild like we wanted to we saw them in cages. We did see a lot of elk and buffalo. It was so fun! When we stayed in Cody we stayed at the Irma Hotel in the Buffalo Bill Suite it was a blast I can't wait to do more road trips with them!

My Little Sister Beat Me To It!!!

My little sister Jordan got married on June 13th, She was a beautiful bride. They were married in The Salt Lake Temple and had the reception at my parent's. It so nice and so much fun!
I just want to apologize in advance to whoever I marry. I was a nervous wreck helping Jordan her wedding. You've heard of "Bridezilla" I was "Bridesmaidzilla" It was stressful, I think I was way more stressed than the bride! It turned out great though!

This was not my finest moment. I took out every little girl there to get that bouquet. I even think my niece Claire (that is standing behind me) is rubbing her head from me jumping above her and hitting her in the head trying to get that dumb thing. It is so embarrassing to see it on film! But I deserved that bouquet it was my little sister's You can see all the older girls I am talking to laughing cuz they just backed up when it was thrown and let me have at it. Kenzie is even showing you how high I was, but she is exaggerating a little bit!
